Grigg Residence
The clients commissioned Phillips and Associates Architects to design a house with a country feel externally and contemporary internal spaces with good functionality.
The roof is a traditional Dutch gable roof with a wide eave that reflects a more traditional style farmhouse, but with clean lines and the detail of a more contemporary building. Working with the clients finishes and fittings were selected to enable the clients to put their stamp on the project.
The clients said they were very happy with the design and especially enjoyed the interior spaces, the relationship to the outdoors and relaxing in the north facing courtyard in cooler months and on the east facing deck in warm weather overlooking the garden and rural landscape.
