The selection of finishes and fittings are based on the long term benefits to the occupants of the house with consideration given to ongoing sustainability, reduced energy and water consumption, and the ability to recycle materials or reuse in the future. Rational planning and structural design reduce the overall labour cost to achieve affordable sustainability.

Hot Water Heating
A 6 star instantaneous hot water system is used, this system provides lower greenhouse gas emissions than a more expensive electric boosted solar water heater.
