The existing house was extended and renovated to create a new kitchen, dining and informal living area, a new laundry and double garage. Alterations and renovations to the existing house created a study nook and linked the informal living areas to the existing living spaces. All the existing windows were replaced with thermally broken double glazed windows to increase the energy efficiency of the house.

The owners engaged artist Alice Adams to design a motif for their glass splashback in the kitchen.

Harris Hobbs Landscapes were engaged to design the garden and the owners undertook extensive landscaping as part of the project. The existing terrace was enlarged and new steps linked the outdoor entertaining area to the garden.
